Show me the resumes, the good one’s at that!
May 19th, 2007 by recjamWhere are the qualified resumes? We have limited time on our hands and have a simple recruitment process requirement. I also do not want to burn a big hole in our online recruiting budgets at that.
We get a bunch of Job Orders every day/week. Most job orders have a week to four weeks before they are filled. It is in our best interests that we send well mapped and most suitable resumes within few days of receiving the job order. We do NOT have the luxury of time (wasted time at that) or the big enterprise loaded budgets to download a zillion resumes for the monstrous job portals and pay a bundle to get tenure and feature based membership. We would rather that we spend our time following up with the corporates, recruiters in charge of the job orders and enable fulfillment, rather than sifting through thosands of resumes, trying to qualify their contact detail and experience, skill sets validity etc. We typically do not like to submit stretch or edge case resumes. Skill set mapping, project, geographic and other related experience mapping forms a key component of how we map and qualify a resume(s) to a job order.
There has been mention of pay for hire or pay by the resume (blocks of ‘em) for a while now. We are glad to note that somebody like GoRecroot is taking a step forward in this direction. The multi-dimensional resume and job order embellishments being provided for recruiters, job seekers and for companies lends to some interesting and exciting stuff as well. Looking forward to getting on board and making more and higher quality monies.
