GoRecroot – Sales and Marketing Manager, Worldwide
GoRecroot is looking for a motivated leader to manage all the top-line revenues for their online business. It is a progressive, high growth opportunity for someone who has been in the sales and marketing side of a web or e-commerce business looking to create and be part of a tremendous growth opportunity.
Job Description:
• Responsible for all of the top line revenues for GoRecroot brands, cobrands, partners, affiliates.
• Cost responsibility includes all marketing costs and other country specific overhead in running the business. Will be jointly responsible for the cost of goods.
• Responsibilities include all Customer Acquisition activities including co-brands, search, affiliate programs, PR, as well as all CRM.
• Special responsibilities include managing strategic relationships with major properties including online retailers, content sites, and ISPs and driving customer acquisition and revenue through them.
• Responsible for merchandizing GoRecroot and partner products in various countries.
• Responsible for overall operations of the GoRecroot and co-branded website. This involves coordinating with the centralized site operations and regional operations team in making sure order flow at the desired levels.
• Will be working in a close knit team to start with, and more people will be added as we have revenues to justify them.
• Other support will include the platform product and small engineering and testing team, site operations team, small customer service (English) team and any other centralized functions such as legal, finance, etc.
• Will report to the head of GoRecroot - Worldwide operations
Desired Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or Economics. MBA added advantage
• 5 - 7 years of experience in a customer marketing, partner relations
• At least 3 years of online marketing experience with a strong knowledge of online best practices
• Demonstrated success managing and building relationships to drive customer acquisition or sales.
• Self-starter who is highly motivated and can operate with minimal supervision
• Excellent analytical abilities comfortable creating programs that are strictly measured against quantitative ROI-based objectives.
• Impeccable client relations and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with multiple levels of partner management, often ranging from associate to VP.
• Experience in a startup environment is desirable.
• Passionate, energetic and highly motivated to help a company win in a very dynamic and fast-paced market place.
• Clear and effective communication skills
