Distribute your resume – Use widgets

	What is a widget? How does it help? A widget is a container or a wrapper that can be used to carry content in the internet. At GoRecroot you can use widgets to wrap versions of your resume and distribute them in the internet.
	How to make a widget If you have already created resumes, select versions that you want to distribute with widgets. Choose the size of your widget (depending on your target destination). Give your widget a title, this is visible in your target destination and should attract the right recruiters to view your widgets. Keep your distribution destinations in mind, and select GoRecroot, widgetbox, RSS, Atom or extract a link to your widget.
	Harness the power of your social network With a widget you can wrap versions of your resume at GoRecroot and post them any where on the internet. You can email a link to potential recruiters or hiring managers, or, leave the widgets in targeted web locations: blogs, social networking groups. You can also extract your resumes as an RSS or Atom feed and post it.

You get a clear advantage when creating a job order in GoRecroot and then widgets to distribute it:

1.	Your information is still under the control of your account at GoRecroot.
2.	Responses to your job orders (that are distributed) still reach your webtop. This way, you reach out to multiple destinations, and use your webtop toolbox to filter and short list resumes.
3.	Your email box will not be flooded over a weekend (just in case)
4.	When you are ready to close the job order, delete it, in your webtop and your widget link (for that job order) will be deactivated

Job search – Global reach, Local penetration

	GoRecroot job search Start your job search by entering at least two search words in the GoRecroot search bar, from the home page, and choose your location preference. Hit the Go Search button and you will see preliminary results shown right under the button. Once you are into the search result pages, you can use the additional filters and zero in on your target job position.
	Jobs Jobs Enter Jobs Jobs from the footer menu bar and it is raining jobs and jobs. GoRecroot aggregates quality job positions from around the world and lands it to your GoRecroot account. In the Jobs Jobs page, enter your skills, location preferences and other basic information and get a list of matching global job positions. Use your GoRecroot powered resume embellished with voice, video and photo and apply for these job positions - get best results.

Resume search

Resume search made easy & effective

GoRecroot Resume search
Start your resume search by entering two keywords in the GoRecroot search bar, from the home page. Hit the Go Search button and you will see preliminary results shown right under the button.

You can click on the results to get into the result pages or fine tune your search with the options below:
1. Click ‘All’ to tighten your search
2. Click ‘Any’ to relax your search filters

Say, you are searching for “electrical engineering” with ‘All’, that means the results match both “electrical” and “engineering”. Same with “Any” will combine results of “electrical” with results for “engineering”. With “Any” you will get more results to work with. If your objective is networking, click on People and connect with targeted professionals in the social web.

Once into the search result pages (by clicking on the “26219 results” link from the above example, you go to the search results page, where you have multiple search filters to zero down on your target set of resumes.

Getting started on resume search

Easy job order auto uploads in the home and is also available from the quick upload button on the left hand side

Create job order from your webtop, and map resumes, powered by Intellift – the intelligent mapping engine

Copy paste a job order from your email, career microsite and get the mapper do the rest for you

Resume search from the home page

Search and map assistant from below the footer bar, build a search and get resumes listed

SMS key skills to GoRecroot, get SMS number for your region from Customer Care

Any of the above methods can get your resume search started. Once you have set your eyes on the resumes you want, you can add them to your webtop. Once these resumes are in your webtop you can extract contact information or export the resumes to spreadsheets to slice and dice them up. Most application tracking systems take in a spreadsheet input and, you should be all set to go recruit.
